According to Cecily Mbarire's manifesto, the county was expected to implement a school feeding programme for learners. In September 2025, the county reported that it has intensified preparations for the expansion of its flagship Uji School Feeding Program by training a new group of Uji Champions and boda boda riders who will be central to the second phase of the initiative.
