Reports from the Embu County Government state that Governor Cecily Mbarire has overseen the development of ECDE infrastructure in the county. During a consultative session with the Senate Education Committee at Parliament Buildings in Nairobi, Governor Mbarire highlighted the significant strides Embu County has made in expanding access to Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) and strengthening vocational training opportunities for young people. Embu County now has 404 public ECDE centres and 142 private centres serving over 27,700 learners, with tuition-free access ensuring that no child is left behind.
